Day Wise Itinerary

Your Meghalaya journey begins upon arrival at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station. Meet your driver and head toward Cherrapunji (approx. 5–6 hours). En route, stop at the picturesque Elephant Falls. On reaching Cherrapunji, enjoy sightseeing that includes Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls, Mawsmai Cave, and Eco Park. Check into your hotel. Overnight stay in Cherrapunji.

Today is reserved for the iconic Double Decker Living Root Bridge Trek. Begin early and drive to Tyrna village, the starting point of the trek. Descend through a scenic forest trail of over 3000 steps, crossing suspension bridges and streams to reach the natural wonder at Nongriat. Spend time at the bridge and natural pools before returning. Overnight stay in Cherrapunji.

After breakfast, head toward the clean village of Riwai near Mawlynnong for a short trek to the Single Decker Living Root Bridge. This natural marvel is less strenuous and offers equally breathtaking views. After exploration, continue to Dawki, famous for its emerald-green Umngot River. Overnight stay in Dawki or Shnongpdeng riverside camps.

After breakfast, drive to Krang Suri Waterfalls, one of the most photogenic falls in Meghalaya with its magical turquoise pool. After soaking in the scenery, continue to Laitlum Canyon, a panoramic valley known as the "End of the Hills." Later, head to Shillong. Overnight stay in Shillong.

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and begin your journey back to Guwahati. Drop-off at the Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey. Trip ends with unforgettable memories of Meghalaya’s natural wonders.
