Day Wise Itinerary

Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, meet our representative and begin your journey into the lush hills of Meghalaya. Enjoy a scenic drive to Cherrapunji, one of the rainiest places on Earth, known for its waterfalls and caves. Check into your hotel, rest, and explore nearby viewpoints if time permits. Overnight stay in Cherrapunji.

After an early breakfast, gear up for the adventurous trek to the famous Double Decker Living Root Bridge in Nongriat. This guided trek involves over 3,000 steps descending into a pristine rainforest with hanging bridges and clear water streams. Spend some time admiring the root bridge, relax in the natural pools, and later trek back to Cherrapunji. Overnight stay in Cherrapunji.

Post breakfast, check out and travel to Dawki with a stop at Mawlynnong — dubbed the cleanest village in Asia. Enjoy a walk through the village and visit the balancing rock. From here, proceed to the Riwai village trek for the Single Decker Living Root Bridge. After the short hike, continue to Dawki. If time permits, enjoy a peaceful boat ride on the crystal-clear Umngot River. Overnight stay in Dawki or Shnongpdeng.

After breakfast, drive towards Shillong, the capital city of Meghalaya. On the way, stop at picturesque viewpoints, waterfalls, and scenic valleys. Visit places like Elephant Falls and Shillong Peak, depending on time. Reach Shillong by afternoon or evening and check into your hotel. Spend the evening at leisure or explore Police Bazaar. Overnight stay in Shillong.

After breakfast, check out and begin the journey to Guwahati. On arrival, check into your hotel and relax. In the evening, enjoy a memorable sunset cruise on the mighty Brahmaputra River. Capture the beautiful scenery as the sun sets over one of Asia’s greatest rivers. Overnight stay in Guwahati.

Start your day with a visit to the revered Kamakhya Devi Temple, one of India’s most important Shakti Peethas. After the temple visit, proceed to the airport or railway station for your return journey, carrying back memories of your Meghalaya adventure.

  • Date of booking to 30 days before travel the cancellation charges will be 25% of the tour cost
  • 30 to 15 days before travel – cancellation charges will be 50% of the tour cost
  • Within 15 Days of travel, no refund will be applicable.
