Day Wise Itinerary

Arrive at Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport (Leh). You will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Due to the high altitude (11,500 ft), spend the day resting and allowing your body to acclimate. In the evening, take a short walk in the Leh Market or visit the Shanti Stupa for panoramic sunset views. Overnight stay in Leh.

After breakfast, enjoy a guided local tour of Leh. Visit Thiksey Monastery, Shey Palace, Hemis Monastery, and Leh Palace. Learn about Ladakh's Tibetan-Buddhist culture and architecture. Later, stroll around Main Bazaar for handicrafts and souvenirs. Overnight stay in Leh.

After an early breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La, one of the world’s highest motorable roads. Upon descending into Nubra, visit the Diskit Monastery with its giant Buddha statue, and enjoy a camel safari on the sand dunes of Hunder. Check in to a camp/homestay. Overnight stay in Nubra.

After breakfast, take a scenic drive to Turtuk, a remote Balti village that was once a part of Pakistan until 1971. Explore its traditional stone houses, apricot orchards, and panoramic views of the Karakoram mountains. Interact with locals for a glimpse into Balti culture. Return to Hunder by evening. Overnight stay in Nubra.

Post breakfast, drive towards Pangong Lake via the beautiful and lesser-traveled Shyok route. Arrive at the breathtaking Pangong Tso, stretching across India and China. Spend the evening by the lake, watching the surreal colors change with the setting sun. Overnight stay in a lakeside camp.

Wake up early to catch the sunrise over the lake. After breakfast, head back to Leh via Chang La Pass (17,586 ft), stopping at scenic points along the way. On arrival in Leh, check in and spend the evening shopping or at leisure. Overnight stay in Leh.
