After breakfast leave for the full-day tour of Sonamarg (Meadows of Gold), Sonamarg lies at the head of the Sindh valley. After breakfast drive to Pahalgam (valley of shepherds). The distance of about 100 km will be covered in about 3 hrs. En route visit Saffron fields, Awantipora ruins (1100 yrs old temple of Lord Vishnu built by King Awantiverma), see the beautiful countryside on the way and a lot of rice fields. Drive through pine forests. Arrive at Pahalgam and transfer to the hotel. After lunch, bridle walks and feeds your cameras with pictures of magnificent views of mountains.
