Day Wise Itinerary

Arrive at KushokBakula airport Leh – 3500m above sea level. Transfer to hotel, Half Day at rest for acclimatization. After Lunch drive to Visit Shanti Stupa, and Leh Palace, Later in the evening walk around the local market. Dinner and overnight stay at the Hotel in Leh

After Breakfast drives to Nubra Valley via Khardungla (the Highest Motorable road in the World, 18,380 ft) Arrive at Hundar by Afternoon. Rest of the day, Post lunch free to exploreDeskit the Monastery, Hunder Villages, and camel Safari in the Sand Dunes between Deskit and Hunder Village, Overnight stay at the camp

Early Morning after breakfast we leave for Pangong Lake through Changla pass 5486 Mtrs. via Wari La/Shyok Route Pangong Lake, situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m). A long narrow basin of inland drainage, hardly six to seven kilometers at its widest point and over 130km long, it is bisected by the international border between India and China. A few years back the government decided to open it to tourists though the lake and its surrounding are under army surveillance. Enjoy the landscape in the backdrop of the Lake. One rarely feels so close to nature and the environment and the scenery is unforgettable, overnight stay at the camp.

After Breakfast drives back to LehEn-route Visit Thiksey Monastery. Later Walk around Leh Market, and Overnight stay at Hotel.

Leave in the early morning and drive towards Tsomoriri Lake En route to Chumathang stop at Upshi for passport checking. From here the road turns to the left and reaches Karu. Chumathang is famous for its medical hot springs and people visit this place for medical baths and visit the Chumathang monastery. From here a short drive up to Maha Bridge the main checking point to enter this new area. From here the road is rough. On the way visit Sumdah village and another 55 km drive will take you to Tsomoriri. The Lake is a breeding ground for numerous species of birds. Chief among them is the bar-headed goose, found in great numbers, the crested grebe, the Brahmin duck (ruddy sheldrake), and the brown-headed gull. The Lake is 8 Km. Wide and 28 Km long. Overnight in Deluxe Camp

After breakfast drive to Tso Kar. (Kar Lake), It is a day where we will cross a number of passes the first of which is already being passed Bara Lacha La (4955M above sea level). After coming down from Bara Lacha La climb up the Gatta Loops, a series of 21 hairpin bends carved into the mountainside, and then after descending once again wound your way up the Lachung La pass (4985M above sea level). From here the road twists its way to Pang through an amazing canyon with sheer cliffs and rocky outcrops looming up on both sides of the road. Drive Directly towards Sarchu and Night stay in camp

Today we start our journey towards Manali En route we cross Baralacha Pass (4890m), Keylong (3350 m) & Rohtang Pass (3978 m) border of the states of Jammu & Camp;

Kashmir (Ladakh) and Himachal Pradesh (Lahaul). Upon arrival in Manali, we check in at our Hotel for an overnight stay
