Cancellation & Refund Policy

This Cancellation & Refund Policy outlines the terms governing cancellations, amendments, and refunds for bookings made with Felix Feria ("Company", "we", "our", or "us"), operating under the brand name Felix Feria Travel.

By confirming a booking with Felix Feria, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Cancellation & Refund Policy.

1. Booking Confirmation

A booking is considered confirmed only after:

  • Receipt of the required advance or full payment, as applicable.
  • Written confirmation issued by Felix Feria.
  • Confirmation of availability from hotels, airlines, transport providers, cruise operators, or other travel suppliers.

2. Cancellation Requests

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by email to support@felixferia.com from the registered email address used for the booking.

The effective date of cancellation shall be the date on which the written cancellation request is received by Felix Feria.

3. Standard Cancellation Charges

Unless otherwise specified in your quotation, invoice, booking confirmation, or supplier-specific terms, the following cancellation charges shall apply:

From the date of booking up to 30 days before the travel date 25% of the total tour/package cost
30 to 15 days before the travel date 50% of the total tour/package cost
Within 15 days of the travel date, No Show, or after commencement of travel 100% of the total tour/package cost (No Refund)
Peak Season Policy: For travel scheduled between 15th December and 10th January (both dates inclusive), all bookings shall be treated as Non-Refundable, irrespective of the date of cancellation, due to peak season demand and supplier policies.

Special Supplier & Destination Policies: Certain hotels, airlines, cruises, resorts, luxury properties, holiday trains, destination management companies (DMCs), fixed departure tours, promotional offers, festive departures, and international packages may have cancellation policies that differ from the standard policy above.

If the cancellation policy mentioned in your quotation, itinerary, invoice, booking confirmation, supplier confirmation, or travel voucher differs from this standard policy, the cancellation terms specified in those booking documents shall prevail.

4. Flights, Hotels & Third-Party Services

Flights, hotels, cruises, visa services, travel insurance, transportation, sightseeing activities, and other third-party travel services are governed by the cancellation and refund policies of the respective suppliers.

Felix Feria acts as a travel facilitator and cannot modify or override supplier cancellation policies.

5. Visa Fees

Visa application fees, embassy charges, appointment fees, documentation charges, courier charges, and visa processing fees are strictly non-refundable, irrespective of:

  • Visa approval or rejection.
  • Cancellation of travel by the traveller.
  • Delay in visa processing.
  • Changes in embassy or consulate policies.

Felix Feria provides visa assistance only and does not guarantee visa approval.

6. Travel Insurance

Travel insurance premiums are non-refundable once the policy has been issued, unless otherwise permitted by the insurance provider.

Claims relating to cancellations, medical emergencies, baggage loss, or travel interruption must be submitted directly to the insurance company in accordance with the terms of the insurance policy.

7. Refund Processing

Where a refund is applicable, it will be processed only after Felix Feria receives the corresponding refund from the respective travel supplier, wherever applicable.

Approved refunds are generally processed within 15 to 30 business days, subject to supplier timelines, banking procedures, and payment gateway processing.

Refunds will normally be credited using the original mode of payment.

8. Non-Refundable Charges

The following charges are generally non-refundable unless otherwise specified:

  • Booking or reservation fees
  • Service charges
  • Convenience fees
  • Payment gateway charges
  • Visa fees
  • Travel insurance premiums
  • Government taxes or statutory charges already remitted
  • Supplier cancellation charges
  • Promotional or discounted bookings marked as non-refundable

9. Amendments & Rescheduling

Requests to amend travel dates, passenger names, hotels, flights, destinations, or other booking details are subject to:

  • Availability
  • Approval by the respective supplier
  • Applicable fare differences
  • Hotel supplements
  • Supplier amendment charges
  • Administrative charges, where applicable

Felix Feria cannot guarantee acceptance of amendment or rescheduling requests.

10. Cancellation by Felix Feria

In exceptional circumstances, Felix Feria may cancel or modify a booking due to events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, airline operational issues, political unrest, supplier insolvency, or other force majeure events.

Where feasible, we will make reasonable efforts to offer an alternative travel arrangement, travel credit, or refund, subject to the policies of the respective travel suppliers.

Felix Feria shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, including visa expenses, personal expenses, loss of income, missed onward connections, or similar costs.

11. No Show & Unused Services

No refund shall be provided if the traveller:

  • Fails to report for the scheduled departure.
  • Misses a flight, train, cruise, transfer, or sightseeing activity.
  • Chooses not to use any confirmed travel service.
  • Leaves the tour after commencement.
  • Is denied boarding or entry due to invalid travel documents, health requirements, or immigration decisions.

Unused services are non-refundable.

12. Force Majeure

Felix Feria shall not be responsible for delays, cancellations, losses, or additional expenses arising from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Floods
  • Landslides
  • Earthquakes
  • Severe weather conditions
  • War
  • Terrorism
  • Civil unrest
  • Government restrictions
  • Epidemics or pandemics
  • Airline operational disruptions
  • Road closures
  • Labour strikes

Any refund in such circumstances shall be strictly subject to the policies of the respective travel suppliers.
